Equipment Inspector

About The Position
The Equipment Inspector is responsible for thoroughly inspecting trucks and trailers to ensure they are safe and compliant for operation. This position offers an opportunity to learn PAM Transport’s operation and start or grow a career in transportation. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a pay range of $17.00 to $18.00.
Requirements
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic trailer knowledge.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect trailers entering and exiting the yard.
- Inspect tires, lights, and other exterior components for safe operating conditions.
- Inspect trailers arriving from Mexico for damage and mechanical defects.
- Ensure the timely and authorized entrance and departure of equipment.
