The Equipment Inspection Technician will work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, adhering to a "Safety First" approach. This role involves performing pre-job hazardous assessments, job risk reviews, identifying high-potential risks, and conducting audits and observations while following all company and site safety guidelines and procedures. The technician will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of various HVAC systems, including window units, PTACs, condensers, evaporators, RTUs, and air-cooled chillers. They will also perform light maintenance and preventive maintenance (PMs) on water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, and associated rotating equipment like pumps, fan motors, and gearboxes. Additionally, the role includes troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems, repairing or replacing non-energized components, and maintaining and repairing plumbing systems. The technician will also handle repairs and replacements of building components such as windows, doors, flooring, siding, drywall, and painting. A strong customer service orientation is expected, along with the ability to solve client facilities-related problems and ensure the safety and comfort of facility occupants. Maintaining an efficient spare parts inventory and executing preventive maintenance programs are key responsibilities. The role also requires reporting on emergency situations and maintaining a professional appearance.
