About The Position

Under the direction of the Equipment Dispatch Manager, the Equipment Dispatcher is responsible for the efficient coordination, scheduling, and dispatch of equipment for the Southwest Division of WW Clyde (Arizona). This role is essential in ensuring timely delivery of equipment, maximizing utilization, and supporting the success of projects company wide.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three years of experience in the construction industry is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated understanding of heavy construction equipment, logistics, and fleet coordination
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with field and office teams
• Willingness and ability to learn equipment dispatching software and related systems
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word,)
• Ability to lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly without Occasional lifting exceeding 50 pounds may be required, with team lifting or mechanical support.
• Frequent movement is required throughout staging yards, job sites, and shop This includes walking on uneven or unpaved terrain, climbing on and off vehicles and equipment, and accessing confined or elevated work areas.
• Regular bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching are essential for inspecting equipment, handling tools, organizing yard materials, and performing load/unload
• Periods of seated work are necessary for equipment operation, administrative tasks, and coordinating dispatch activities.
• Effective verbal and written communication and active listening skills are essential to follow and relay instructions clearly, communicate with dispatchers, field personnel, and shop teams.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Scheduling and Dispatch: Schedule and dispatch construction equipment to ensure timely and efficient deployment to job sites.
• Equipment Tracking: Track and update equipment movements and locations across various operating systems.
• Equipment Readiness Verification: Ensure equipment readiness by coordinating inspections, maintenance, and communication with the shop and field teams.
• Job Coordination: Coordinate with job sites to maximize equipment
• Staging Yard Management: support the organization of equipment within staging yards; lead efforts to improve yard layout and processes.
• Safety and Environmental Compliance: Help ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory policies; foster a culture of safety and responsibility.
• Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as needed to support operational
