Long Island Saddle Expert/ Sales Representative (CWD)
About The Position
CWD is seeking an Equine Outside Sales Representative based in Long Island. The role offers the opportunity to work for an international saddlery company specializing in custom luxury saddles and tack. The company provides a six-week training program covering saddle fitting, leather, horse biomechanics, and sales, along with ongoing tailored training and support. Compensation includes a fixed salary and unlimited commission potential. Potential total earnings, including base salary and commissions, are $55,000 in Year 1, $65,000–$85,000 in Year 2, and $75,000–$125,000 in Year 3. The position also includes a company car, gas card, iPhone, iPad, coverage of 100% of personal health insurance costs through the company’s carrier, and a 401(k) with a 4% match.
Requirements
- Prior successful field sales experience.
- Willingness to travel and a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to help clients achieve their riding goals.
- Passion for riding and knowledge of the English riding industry and horse shows.
- Strong organizational skills; reliability, independence, and a dynamic, self-starting approach.
