Saddle Expert / Sales Representative (CWD)
About The Position
CWD is seeking an Equine Outside Sales Representative based in Rhode Island and surrounding areas. The representative will work for an international saddlery company specializing in custom luxury saddles and tack. The role involves field sales and travel, serving clients in the English riding industry. CWD provides a six-week training program covering saddle fitting, leather, horse biomechanics, and sales, along with tailored ongoing training and support. Potential annual earnings, including base salary and unlimited commission, are $55,000 in Year 1, $65,000–$85,000 in Year 2, and $75,000–$125,000 in Year 3.
Requirements
- Prior successful field sales experience.
- Willingness to travel and a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for riding and knowledge of the English riding industry and horse shows.
- Strong organizational skills; reliable, independent, and dynamic approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outside field sales and travel to serve clients in Rhode Island and surrounding areas.
- Provide excellent customer service and help clients achieve their riding goals.
- Apply knowledge of saddle fitting, leather, horse biomechanics, and sales developed through company training.
