Requirements

  • One year as an Equal Opportunity Specialist 1 or Human Resource Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Successful completion of the Pennsylvania Management Associate program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years of analytical experience in an equal opportunity program that includes one year of professional experience, and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Review state and federal program activities to determine adherence to equal opportunity and non-discrimination rules
  • Analyze and address discrimination complaints by gathering information, conducting interviews, and developing findings
  • Conduct investigations by collecting documents, speaking with involved parties, and preparing written reports
  • Examine workforce and client data to assess compliance and support required reports
  • Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to staff and equal opportunity officers
  • Assist with the development and interpretation of agency policies related to equal opportunity and non-discrimination
