About The Position

Legacy Medical Group Neurology is seeking an outpatient (clinic-based) Epilepsy Program Director to lead our growing epilepsy services. This position is based at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland, where the Epilepsy Program Director will provide outpatient consultation and longitudinal care for patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions. The new physician will join a collaborative team of 9 outpatient neurologists (including one epileptologist), 4 clinic-based APPs, and 10 neurohospitalists. Our department offers robust subspecialty programs in autoimmune neurology/MS, epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, neuromuscular medicine, neuro-ophthalmology, and vascular neurology. The epilepsy program includes a 4-bed EMU and a comprehensive epilepsy surgery service.

Requirements

Fellowship training in Epilepsy
Minimum of five years of post-graduate experience in outpatient epilepsy management and EEG interpretation
Board Certified in Neurology
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state
Active member in good standing of Hospital Medical Staff
BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Assocation minimally required (ACLS may substitute for BLS)
