About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking an Epic Hospital Billing Application Analyst to join its team. This remote position requires residency in Kentucky or Indiana.

Under general direction, the analyst is responsible for applying and integrating information technology in a healthcare setting. The role serves as a liaison between IT and operations to align system design with operational processes. Work includes data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, support, application deployment, and procedure documentation. The analyst ensures software builds meet organizational goals and external requirements, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use. The position requires technical knowledge of most phases of application systems analysis and project management. Under supervision, the analyst may coordinate medium-sized projects with medium budgets, which may or may not have system-wide implications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience, or a minimum of four years of direct experience in lieu of a degree.
• Technical knowledge of most phases of application systems analysis and project management.
• Must reside in Kentucky or Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to align system design with operational processes.
• Collect data and analyze workflows.
• Configure, test, and support applications.
• Participate in application deployment and procedure documentation.
• Ensure software builds meet organizational goals and external mandates, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use.
