About The Position

CTG is seeking a highly experienced Epic HB (Hospital Billing) Admin Support Analyst to support, maintain, and optimize the Epic HB application. This role requires a certified Epic HB professional with deep technical expertise and strong revenue cycle operations knowledge, capable of supporting complex billing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and partnering with operational stakeholders to drive efficiency and performance.

Requirements

  • Epic HB (Hospital Billing) Certification – Required
  • 5+ years of hands-on Epic HB build and support experience
  • Strong, demonstrated experience supporting health system revenue cycle operations, including patient accounting, billing, claims processing, and reimbursement workflows
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle processes, including charge capture, claim edits, remittance, and denial management
  • Experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization within Epic
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues independently
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced support and administration of the Epic HB application, including build, configuration, maintenance, and optimization
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for hospital billing workflows, ensuring alignment with revenue cycle best practices
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership and end users to understand operational challenges and translate them into system enhancements
  • Support system upgrades, testing cycles, and releases, including build validation, regression testing, and documentation
  • Monitor system performance, billing edits, and work queues to ensure timely and accurate claim processing
  • Assist in the design and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce denials or billing errors
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts or team members as needed
  • Maintain detailed documentation of build, workflows, and support processes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, finance, clinical operations) to support integrated workflows
