Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst I for our Cupid Cardiology Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As an Epic Clinical Information System Analyst I, you will analyze defined operational and clinical workflow needs; configure, build, test, and validate assigned Epic application functionality under general guidance and in accordance with approved standards. You will serve as a support contact for assigned applications, respond to end-user questions, troubleshoot incidents, document findings, and escalate complex or cross-application issues appropriately. You will identify and implement approved system changes, including requirements clarification, configuration, unit and integrated testing, change-control documentation, and post-change validation. You will work with operational subject matter experts, end users, Epic representatives, and other application teams to align system functionality with business needs, project deliverables, and timelines. You will develop and maintain accurate application, workflow, testing, issue, and support documentation; contribute to knowledge articles, training materials, and standard operating procedures. You will participate in project meetings, site visits, integrated sessions, and status reviews; communicate assigned deliverables, risks, dependencies, and end-user concerns. You will participate in end-user education, go-live readiness and support, upgrades, downtimes, and other scheduled or unscheduled support activities, including work outside normal business hours as needed. You will maintain knowledge of assigned Epic applications, AHC policies and workflows, healthcare technology, patient safety practices, and applicable regulatory requirements; complete required Epic training and certification activities. You will perform other related duties as assigned. Specific responsibilities include Cupid Build and Configuration for Cath and EP lab procedure documentation, sedation, and implant and supply tracking; Non-invasive Configuration for echo, ECG, stress testing, and Holter and event monitoring, with structured reports and cardiologist reading worklists; Integration and Cross-Application Coordination with hemodynamic monitoring, ECG management, cardiovascular imaging and PACS, and device interrogation; working with teams that configure Radiant, OpTime, Anesthesia, Cadence, ClinDoc, Ambulatory, Supply Chain, and Resolute; design sessions, device integration testing, and support in cardiovascular areas for go-live and beyond; and Production Support and Optimization, handling incidents, on-call if applicable, lab utilization and report turnaround analysis, and dashboards for cardiovascular leaders. You will also be involved in Quality, Registry, and Compliance, including data capture for ACC NCDR registries; Joint Commission, sedation, and radiation safety requirements; and HIPAA.
