About The Position
Accenture Flex offers fixed-duration, project-based work in the employee’s local metro area, onsite at the project, with reduced or eliminated travel. The Epic Patient Access Lead collaborates with Accenture teams, software vendors, and clients on healthcare IT projects. Work may include implementation, optimization, upgrades, and application support. The role involves documenting and analyzing workflows, defining product requirements and use cases, supporting configuration and integration, testing, quality reviews, and mapping data requests. Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in Healthcare IT in an Epic Patient Access Analyst Team Lead role.
- Experience and certification in both Epic Cadence and Epic Prelude.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of experience working for a consulting firm.
- Experience in at least one full implementation of Epic.
- Experience with Epic Referrals Authorizations, Epic Grand Central, and RealTime Eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Document current-state business workflows.
- Assist with the analysis and design of new business workflows.
- Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases.
- Provide input into high-level functional specifications.
- Work with project managers, architects, business analysts, and other team members to define application metrics and performance goals.
- Help transition requirements and use cases to ensure a clear and complete understanding.
- Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product performance and user acceptance testing.
- Participate in quality management reviews of designs and work-product performance to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
- Perform or advise on system configuration and integration setup, and assist with testing activities.
- Serve as an intermediary among clients, the Epic team, and Accenture technical leads to support shared understanding of data structures, workflows, and technology capabilities and limitations.
- Assist in developing and documenting data requests and source-to-target mapping.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
