About The Position
Provides a clean and sanitary environment. Follows and completes assignments as given by the Environmental Supervisor. Promotes a World Class Environment. Serves as the primary point of contact to patients, visitors, and staff. This ties to the hospital's Quality Beacons of Excellence.
Requirements
- Possession of a current valid driver’s license in the state of employee’s residence with no evidence of unsafe driving is required for employees designated to drive hospital vehicles or personal vehicles of hospital patrons.
Responsibilities
- Performs cleaning of areas assigned in order to provide high quality as required by JC and State Board of Health.
- Communicates with patients and families to exceed their expectations.
- Provide proper par levels of linen to ensure cost levels are maintained.
- Contributes to a high performance work environment by attending meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
- Works to maintain a safe work environment for patients, visitors and staff.
- Arranges furniture for meetings and workshops.
- Cleans assigned Nursing Service equipment in Emergency Services, OB LDR Rooms and C – Section Rooms.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Benefits
- $1,500 HIRE ON BONUS (Receive $500 paid at 1 month with perfect attendance, $500.00 at 6 months, and $500 at 1 year of employment).
