The Environmental Services Colleague is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining an assigned area in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, including event and conference room set-ups. Key duties involve making timely rounds to pick up soiled, infectious waste, reusable patient care equipment and instruments. The role also includes segregating these items to their respective holding areas and for cleaning and reprocessing equipment and other reusable patient care items. Additionally, the colleague is responsible for proper transporting and handling of hazardous chemicals to the designated storage area. This is a full-time position with benefits, working a day shift from 8am to 4:30pm, with an every other weekend and holiday rotation.
