About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician maintains a clean work environment in assigned areas of Banner Rehabilitation Hospital, including patient rooms, offices, nurses’ stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and the lobby. The role also supports a safe environment by promptly reporting unsafe conditions and replenishing supplies such as soap, towels, toilet tissue, and other disposable items.

This is a full-time position in Phoenix, Arizona, with a schedule of 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and rotating weekends and holidays. Compensation is $17.50–$23.55 per hour, depending on years of experience. At least one year of previous professional housekeeping or environmental services experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital environmental services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurses’ stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and the lobby.
• Report unsafe conditions promptly to a supervisor or the appropriate department.
• Replenish supplies, including soap, towels, toilet tissue, and other disposable items.
