About The Position

Provide environmental services support throughout the facility on an as-needed basis. Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary healthcare environment by performing cleaning, disinfection, and room preparation duties in patient care areas and other assigned locations. The position requires flexibility to work different shifts based on operational needs. Shifts are 8 hours, with start times varying from 6:00 a.m. at the earliest to 12:30 a.m. at the latest.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow established cleaning, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and schedules.
• Ability to follow instructions and respond appropriately to supervisor direction.
• Ability to maintain a professional, service-oriented attitude when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a 500-hour probationary period.
• Satisfactory adjudication of a background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
• Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required upon conditional job offer.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CHEST/CHESP Certification.
• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, custodial, or healthcare cleaning experience.
