Environmental Services Partner- Community Heart and Vascular Hospital
About The Position
The Environmental Services Partner maintains a safe, clean, and sanitary hospital environment in a professional and courteous manner. The role performs cleaning tasks in assigned hospital areas, replenishes supplies and dispensable items, and transports or disposes of waste and soiled items. The position requires effective, courteous service to patients and staff, teamwork with peers and other hospital staff, and respect for the confidentiality and privacy of patients, families, and staff. Cleaning must meet requirements of the Joint Commission and State Board of Health.
Requirements
- Ability to provide courteous service and work collaboratively with peers and hospital staff.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull, and to stand and/or walk approximately eight hours a day; lifting restrictions are not permitted.
- Ability to see well, with correction, both at a distance of at least 20 feet and up close.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
