About The Position

The Environmental Services Partner maintains a safe, clean, and sanitary hospital environment in a professional and courteous manner. The role performs cleaning tasks in assigned hospital areas, replenishes supplies and other dispensable items, and transports and disposes of waste and soiled items. Cleaning must meet the quality requirements of the Joint Commission and State Board of Health. The position requires respectful handling of the confidentiality and privacy needs of patients, families, and staff, as well as effective communication with patients and staff.

Requirements

• Ability to provide service to others in a willing and courteous manner and foster teamwork with peers and other hospital staff.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull; must have no lifting restrictions.
• Ability to stand and/or walk approximately eight hours a day.
• Ability to see well, with correction, at a distance of at least 20 feet and up close.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma and/or GED preferred, but not required.
