About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring an Environmental Services Department Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams in a long-term care facility. The role focuses on positively impacting the communities served and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The manager supervises staff and may perform hands-on housekeeping, laundry, and floor care duties across varying shifts. The position pays USD $19.00–$22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and federal and state requirements.
• Perform and lead teams in light housekeeping, heavy housekeeping, and laundry aide duties across varying shifts.
• Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; ensure timely completion of projects and programs.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG computer software.
• Act as a liaison between building occupants and administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives effectively.
• Use protective gear appropriately and ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, and complete tasks on time.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, client staff, residents, and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
