About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring an Environmental Services Department Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams at a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting communities and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The manager supervises staff and performs or leads housekeeping and laundry duties across varying shifts, while maintaining quality, safety, records, and effective communication with facility occupants and HCSG personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervisory experience preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods; perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Work around food and cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Reside within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and federal and state requirements.
• Perform and lead light housekeeping, heavy housekeeping, and laundry aide duties across varying shifts.
• Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions, and ensure timely completion of projects and programs.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG computer software.
• Act as a liaison between building occupants and administrators and HCSG staff, and communicate directives effectively.
• Use protective gear appropriately and ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and compliance with safety precautions.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality and complete tasks on time.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, client staff, residents, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
