Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 for Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. This facility is a 365-bed hospital with over 100 non-union client staff, and it is part of the Beth Israel. This is a second shift position that will involve some weekends and holidays. The role reports to an on-site General Manager. Sodexo provides a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees in these healthcare sites are vital to improving patient satisfaction and well-being.
Requirements
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Proven ability to develop and motivate a team to exceed client and customer expectations in service and technical execution of a healthcare housekeeping system.
- Experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently to drive program compliance and meet project target dates.
- Ability to analyze data, present findings, and communicate effectively to all organizational levels regarding training, hospital committee leadership, and change management.
- Experience effectively managing projects within agreed-upon timelines.
- Results and safety driven.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental, or Custodial Services.
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Driving client and patient satisfaction scores.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Working closely with the Infectious Control department.
- Collaborating with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director.
- Effectively managing the Unit Operating System.
