About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Environmental Services Operations Manager 2 for ECU Health Duplin Hospital, an 81-bed facility. This hospital is part of the ECU Health System, which includes nine-hospitals, totaling 1,717 licensed beds across eastern North Carolina. This position will support all shifts, managing a team of 20 in Kenansville. This role will support quality assurance efforts, floor care projects, payroll, and lead the team in engagement. Sodexo Healthcare Environmental Services/Housekeeping teams work to direct housekeeping operations at healthcare client locations, partnering with them to deliver innovative solutions. These teams also have responsibility for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of hospital staff, as well as follow-through with action items that impact both client and patient satisfaction. Requirements

  • Experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines
  • Results and safety driven
  • In-depth knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures
  • Experience with vendor and contract management, as well as union and contract negotiations
  • 5 years previous custodial / housekeeping or similar management experience
  • Proficient with computers and other technology
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years Minimum Management Experience
  • 2 years Minimum Functional Experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Environmental Services, Hotels housekeeping and/or Custodial Services
  • Military service
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Driving client and patient satisfaction scores
