About The Position
Sodexo is currently seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 for Jackson South Medical Center in Miami, FL, part of the Jackson Health system. This is a 262 bed hospital, this manager will oversee a team of approximately 30 housekeepers and floor techs. Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.
Requirements
- Experience leading, training and managing a team
- Leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service delivery
- Customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a healthcare or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently to drive program
- Monitor compliance and reach project target dates of completion
- Experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines
- Results and safety driven
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
- Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department
- Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives
- Effectively manage the Unit Operating System
- Support a diverse and inclusive workforce
