Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for Cooper Medical Center, located in Camden, New Jersey to manage the EVS team at the main hospital. This is part of the larger main facility, a prominent teaching hospital which is growing in Camden, NJ. Great opportunity to work with a large, supportive management team and oversee a team of 25. This is a Second Shift position (some weekends and holidays) which will report into an Operations Manager. Main facility is a 655 bed, level 1 trauma center in an urban setting. The shift is 3pm-11:30pm, with a required half hour pre and post shift for managers. Rotating weekend shifts as business needs dictate.
Requirements
- Experience leading, training and managing a team
- Customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a healthcare or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently to drive program
- Monitor compliance and reach project target dates of completion
- Experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines
- Results and safety driven
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
- Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department
- Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives
- Effectively manage the Unit Operating System
