About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for Cooper Medical Center, located in Camden, New Jersey. This role will manage the EVS team at the main hospital, which is a prominent teaching hospital that is growing in Camden, NJ. This is a great opportunity to work with a large, supportive management team and oversee a team of 25. The position is a Second Shift role (some weekends and holidays) and will report into an Operations Manager. The main facility is a 655-bed, level 1 trauma center in an urban setting. The shift is 3pm-11:30pm, with a required half hour pre and post shift for managers. Rotating weekend shifts are required as business needs dictate.

Requirements

• Experience leading, training and managing a team
• Customer service and/or guest satisfaction experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to work independently to drive program
• Monitor compliance and reach project target dates of completion
• Experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines
• Results and safety driven
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
• Works closely with the Infectious Control department
• Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives
• Effectively manage the Unit Operating System
• Support an inclusive workforce
