About The Position
The Environmental Services Attendant performs cleaning, minor repairs, and other general maintenance duties at Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort. The role helps keep casino facilities clean and well maintained while providing customer service. Duties may also include cleaning and light maintenance for other Port Madison Enterprises divisions, maintaining carpets, delivering water to casino departments, and responding to bio-hazard situations. The attendant operates cleaning and maintenance equipment and performs work safely, including in outdoor and inclement-weather conditions.
Requirements
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of the use, selection, and disposal of cleaning solutions and other potentially toxic materials.
- Ability to perform general maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Manual and finger dexterity to operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift, pull, or push up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to tolerate loud equipment noise while following safety measures and wearing applicable personal protective equipment.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One to two years of carpet-cleaning experience preferred.
- Knowledge of chemicals used for carpet cleaning, types of carpet, distributors, and operation of carpet machines.
Responsibilities
- Keep casino facilities clean and well maintained as directed.
- Complete duties while providing Spectacular Customer Service.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs as directed by department management.
- Operate equipment such as pressure washers, floor sweepers, scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners.
- Serve as a first responder during bio-hazard situations.
- Complete mandatory annual training, including OSHA training.
- Make water deliveries to casino departments.
- Perform duties safely and consistently with training.
- May clean and perform light maintenance for various Port Madison Enterprises divisions.
- Maintain and clean carpets.
- Perform other duties as assigned during the shift.
