About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Associate I at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Portland Ave in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role provides a clean and sanitary environment within the facility and requires population-specific competencies. The associate follows applicable National Patient Safety Goals based on the level of patient contact required. The position may include additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements. The work may involve exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; standard precautions must be followed.

Requirements

Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Follow standard precautions when working around potential exposures to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

Work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning functions in assigned areas according to established procedures and schedules.
Report project work needed to the supervisor, including equipment failures and supply needs.
Keep equipment, housekeeping closets, and/or storage areas clean and stocked.
Mix and maintain cleaning solutions.
Assist with orientation and on-the-job training of new employees.
May fill and push or pull trash and linen carts.
Follow applicable National Patient Safety Goals and standard precautions.
Report to the assigned leader.
