About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Associate at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Environmental Services Associate 2 helps provide a clean and sanitary environment within the facility and must meet population-specific competencies and follow applicable National Patient Safety Goals. The position may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements. The work may involve exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; standard precautions must be followed. The position reports to the assigned shift supervisor. Requirements

At least 3 months of experience performing the job duties of an Environmental Services Associate I.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Must meet population-specific competencies.
Must adhere to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
Must follow standard precautions.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning in assigned areas according to established procedures and schedules.
Report project work needed to the supervisor, including equipment failures and supply needs.
Keep equipment, housekeeping closets, and/or storage areas clean and stocked.
Mix and maintain cleaning solutions.
Assist with orientation and on-the-job training of new employees.
May fill and push or pull trash and linen carts.
Use cleaning equipment such as a floor buffer, auto scrubber, bovac, carpet extractors, scrapers, grout brush, and wall washer.
Follow standard precautions when performing work that may involve exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, or chemicals.
