About The Position

Join INTEGRIS Health as a full-time Environmental Services Associate at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Portland Ave in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. INTEGRIS Health is Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system and seeks a dedicated caregiver to support its mission of partnering with people to live healthier lives. The Environmental Services Associate 2 provides a clean and sanitary environment within the facility and must meet population-specific competencies. The role adheres to applicable National Patient Safety Goals based on the level of patient contact. It reports to the assigned shift supervisor. The position may have additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements. There is potential exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; standard precautions must be followed.

Requirements

At least 3 months of experience performing the job duties of an Environmental Services Associate I.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Must meet population-specific competencies.
Must follow standard precautions.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning functions in assigned areas according to established procedures and schedules.
Report project work needed to the supervisor, including equipment failures and supply needs.
Keep equipment, housekeeping closets, and/or storage areas clean and stocked.
Mix and maintain cleaning solutions.
Assist with orientation and on-the-job training of new employees.
May fill and push or pull trash and linen carts.
Use equipment such as a floor buffer, auto scrubber, bovac, carpet extractors, scrapers, grout brush, and wall washer.
Follow applicable National Patient Safety Goals and standard precautions.
