Environmental Services Associate
About The Position
INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Associate at its Edmond, Oklahoma location. INTEGRIS Health is Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system and describes its mission as partnering with people to live healthier lives. The Environmental Services Associate I helps provide a clean and sanitary environment within the facility. The role requires population-specific competencies and adherence to applicable National Patient Safety Goals, based on the position’s level of patient contact. The position reports to the leader as assigned. It may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements. Potential exposures include infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; standard precautions must be followed.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
- Must follow standard precautions.
- The role requires population-specific competencies and adherence to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.

Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning functions in assigned areas according to established procedures and schedules.
- Report project work needs to the supervisor, including equipment failures and supply needs.
- Keep equipment, housekeeping closets, and/or storage areas clean and stocked.
- Mix and maintain cleaning solutions.
- Assist with orientation and on-the-job training of new employees.
- May fill and push or pull trash and linen carts.
