Environmental Services Aide I (Full-Time)
About The Position
The Environmental Services Aide I performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a clean environment for patients, clients, and visitors. The role involves repetitive cleaning operations throughout the workday, performed under specific instructions with little need for individual judgment in resolving job problems. The aide works frequently with water and cleaning solutions, moves furniture as required, replaces shower curtains as needed, and collects soiled linen for disposal in a laundry chute. The position also requires following instructions and adhering to the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Lift a minimum of 100 lbs.
- Push and pull a minimum of 250 lbs.
- Stand for the length of the shift.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all floor surfaces.
- Perform repetitive cleaning operations throughout the workday under specific instructions.
- Move furniture as required.
- Replace shower curtains as needed.
- Collect soiled linen and dispose of it in the laundry chute.
- Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.
