About The Position
Per diem role performing general housekeeping tasks according to established routines and procedures. The position involves sustained physical effort and exposure to contaminated waste, isolation rooms, and cleaning chemicals. Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and use simple arithmetic.
- Ability to interpret and understand written and oral instructions.
- Sustained physical effort, including working with light or average-weight materials and equipment.
- Ability to perform continuous short-cycle work or operate several machines or pieces of equipment.
- Ability to reach, push carts, lift, carry, manipulate items, stoop, and bend.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital housekeeping experience is desirable; the employer may train basic skills and will provide training on specific hospital procedures.
