About The Position

The Environmental Service Worker II performs cleaning and environmental services across designated work areas in a healthcare setting. Duties may include cleaning sterile areas such as operating rooms, sterile processing, and MRI; handling regular and hazardous waste and operating waste-processing equipment; delivering supplies; operating laundry equipment and changing curtains; and completing other utility duties as assigned. The role requires following safety procedures, documenting assignments, maintaining equipment and records, and interacting professionally with staff and patients. The schedule is second shift, resource (PRN) as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping and/or a service-related field.
• Floor care experience.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 10 to 25 pounds daily.
• Demonstrated high level of customer service toward staff and patients.
• Knowledge of electronic devices such as computers and tablets.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand written instructions in English.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to plan and initiate responsibilities and follow through with minimal direction.
• Strong communication skills, attitude, and attendance.

Nice To Haves
