As Team Lead, you will work to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect by ensuring all assigned facility areas are clean, fully stocked and organized. Your efforts help enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience and assist other caregivers in providing attentive patient care. A caregiver in this role works nights from 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in coordinating multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in Environmental Services
• Leadership experience or experience providing work direction
• Strong customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct general training for new caregivers in floor care, wall washing, carpet cleaning and special procedures.
• Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation.
• Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintain cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
