About The Position
The Environmental Services Lead plays a key role in ensuring a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment. This position provides hands‑on housekeeping support while assisting the Environmental Services Supervisor with daily operations, staff coordination, and departmental oversight across on‑campus and off‑campus locations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of Environmental Services experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- At least 1 year of floor care experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop and apply effective supervisory skills
- Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment required
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping and floor care duties to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist the Supervisor with: Planning and scheduling, Staff training and oversight, Departmental paperwork and administrative tasks, Inventory management and supply ordering, Special projects as assigned
- Provide supervision and operational support
- Coordinate closely with the Supervisor to ensure consistent cleanliness and service quality across all buildings
- Serve as a lead resource for staff, supporting workflow efficiency and best practices
