Skanska is searching for a dynamic Environmental Manager to join our heavy civil transportation infrastructure team in the NYC Metro area. The Environmental Manager is responsible for the integration of environmental services into the business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Environmental Manager oversees responsibilities of all project activities related to environmental services and has direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager and Project Executive.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree – in Occupational Safety / Health, or an engineering discipline degree or equivalent combination of training and related experience.
- Advance knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Practical knowledge of project management.
Responsibilities
- Integration of environmental services into business practices.
- Compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing responsibilities of all project activities related to environmental services.
- Direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager and Project Executive.
