About The Position

Skanska is seeking an Environmental Engineer to integrate environmental services into business practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role oversees project activities related to environmental services and interacts directly with EH&S staff, Field Engineers, Superintendents, Project Managers, and Project Executives. This is an onsite, full-time position with Skanska USA Civil in Washington, DC. A background check is required.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety / Health Construction, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Broad theoretical job knowledge, typically obtained through advanced education.
• Advanced knowledge of the job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Practical knowledge of project management.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety / Health Construction, or Civil Engineering is preferred.
