About The Position

As an Environmental Manager at EMR, you’ll lead environmental programs and maintain regulatory compliance across the Northern Region. You’ll work with regional locations to oversee environmental initiatives, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and drive continuous improvement in environmental practices. The role is full-time and on site, with regular travel between regional locations.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze information, manage multiple priorities, and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel regularly between regional locations.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies or a related field.
• Previous experience in environmental compliance or a related field.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental programs and initiatives across regional locations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor environmental performance and maintain required reports and documentation.
• Conduct site visits to support environmental compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on environmental policies and practices.
• Partner with operational teams to support environmental initiatives and address compliance concerns.
