About The Position

As an Environmental Manager at EMR, you will support and strengthen EMR’s Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) program. You will oversee environmental programs and initiatives across the Northern Region and ensure regulatory compliance. You will partner with regional leadership, site managers, and other SHE team members to promote environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze information, manage multiple priorities, and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel regularly between regional locations.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies or a related field.
• Previous experience in environmental compliance or a related field.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional environmental programs, policies, and initiatives as part of EMR’s SHE program.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor environmental performance and maintain required reports and documentation.
• Conduct site visits and environmental audits to support compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on environmental policies and practices.
• Partner with regional leadership, management, and other SHE team members to address environmental concerns and improve compliance across regional locations.
