About The Position

TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Environmental Interns for its Summer 2027 internship program, based out of the Fort Collins, Colorado office. This is a paid, full-time position expected to run from June through August 2027, with flexible dates. The role may transition into a full-time position upon graduation. Interns work under Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists. The position may include fieldwork and occasional driving. Interns may work directly with the client in the client's office one or more days per week. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with multiple files, sites, and data sets.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with communication, analytical, industrious, initiative-taking, adaptable, and dependable qualities.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar tools.
• Honest, hard-working, and ready to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a portfolio of sites, including technical review of available environmental data and report writing.
• Work directly with the client in the client's office one or more days per week.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.
• Participate in fieldwork and occasional driving as project responsibilities require.
