About The Position

TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Environmental Interns for our Summer 2027 intern program out of our Greenville, SC Office. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2027 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
Pursuing Masters, Bachelors or Associate Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Time Management, willingness to take on new things, some field work.
Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, detail orientated person.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow.
Detail orientated, interested in field work, willing to attempt a new task, organized, good at time management, communication.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 40-hour safety or 30-hour OSHA safety training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Support environmental investigation and remediation projects through fieldwork, environmental sampling, and reporting.
Assist with soil, groundwater, air, and soil vapor sampling, as well as supporting remedial activities and routine site visits.
Assist with interpreting environmental data, preparing technical reports and figures, and documenting findings in accordance with applicable regulations and standard operating procedures.
Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.
