About The Position
To provide multimedia support for a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. Ensure that all control, monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements related to the area of responsibility are satisfied. Maintains internal relationships with refinery personnel and establishes external relationships with regulatory representatives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science is required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret process data, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations is required.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures is required.
- Proficiency with basic computerized office systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Nice To Haves
- A B.S. in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Five years of relevant environmental, refining, petrochemical or chemical industry experience is preferred.
- Previous US DOT HAZMAT Shipping and RCRA Training is preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP, Essential Suite, and Enablon is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Providing facility environmental support under the facility RCRA, NPDES, and BWON requirements.
- Overseeing multiple contractors and developing and maintaining good working relationships within the refinery organization, agency regulators, and contract providers.
- Timely preparation and submission of required reports, with coordinated input from relevant areas of expertise.
- Managing and tracking budgets and expenditures.
- Rotational on-call responsibilities.
