About The Position

We are seeking a Crew Leader/Foreman for landscape and site work, specifically focusing on keeping home builders' job sites clean and up to code. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you will work alongside your crew, not supervise from a distance. The primary responsibility involves installing silt fence on new home construction sites, which is described as more akin to fence work and dirt work than traditional landscaping. We are willing to train individuals with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn, even if they have no prior experience in this specific trade.

Requirements

• Ability to work hard in demanding outdoor conditions, including Florida heat.
• Reliability and punctuality, showing up on time and ready to work each morning.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, take direction, and improve.
• Ability to lead one or two people and keep them productive.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in landscaping, irrigation, lawn care, sod, fencing, or construction is beneficial but not required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small crew of 1 or 2 people, working alongside them to set the pace.
• Train new crew members.
• Ensure work is completed correctly and to standard.
• Install silt fence by digging, setting posts, and hanging fabric.
• Operate equipment, including a trencher.
• Load, unload, and tie down tools and gear.
• Maintain job sites by identifying and resolving issues.
