About The Position

Marsh Agency’s Summer 2027 internship provides students with practical business and environmental risk management experience through hands-on project work and client interaction. Interns develop professional skills, gain insight into the environmental risk management industry, and explore career options. Environmental Consulting Interns work directly with scientists and engineers to learn the basics of Marsh Agency’s service program while contributing to actual client work products. The program includes national webinars, opportunities to build connections with managers, mentors, and other interns, and chances to meet industry partners. Attendance throughout the entire program period is required. The role pays $20 per hour and uses a flexible, hybrid work environment requiring at least three days in the office.

Requirements

Commitment to developing a career in environmental consulting.
Strong interest in the environmental risk management industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent industry experience.
Initiative to apply science and engineering principles to solve problems.
Rising senior or fourth-year undergraduate student.
Legal authorization to work in the United States permanently and on an ongoing basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
Post-graduate geographic desires within the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Attendance throughout the entire program period is required.

Responsibilities

Apply classroom concepts through hands-on project work and client interaction.
Support actual client work products while working with scientists and engineers.
Participate in program webinars and engage with managers, mentors, interns, and industry partners.
