About The Position
Intertek is seeking an Intern to join their Environmental team in Saint Louis, Missouri for the summer of 2026. This internship offers a great opportunity to develop a career in environmental consulting. The Building and Construction division of Intertek focuses on providing innovative product and project solutions across various architecture, engineering, and construction disciplines. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science / Biology / Other applicable science related degree.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift items with weights more than 40 pounds multiple times as needed to complete project requirements.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold surveys.
- Assist with asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold abatement monitoring.
- Assist with asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold clearance sampling.
- Support Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Support Phase II subsurface investigations.
- Support remedial site activities.
