About The Position

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking an Environment Technician to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation. Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. With commercial production expected in mid-2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy. As part of the ESG Team, the Environment Technician is a technically skilled and environmentally focused individual who brings passion and expertise in environmental science and monitoring and environmental data analysis and interpretation to the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in environmental monitoring, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting is required. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with environmental data management systems and sampling equipment.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license with the ability to operate a boat, UTV, and haul a trailer.
  • All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, you must be legally able to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in natural or physical sciences, environmental engineering, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the mining sector is considered an asset.
  • Experience operating an Argo is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of environmental legislation and regulations in Canada and Saskatchewan is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support environmental monitoring programs, data management, and reporting to ensure accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in analyzing environmental monitoring results, identifying trends, and supporting follow-up recommendations.
  • Prepare reports, technical memos, and documentation for regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Provide technical support related to environmental compliance, permits, regulations, and company standards.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and inspections related to construction, operations, water, groundwater, air quality, soil, vegetation, wetlands, noise, and wildlife.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and manage environmental monitoring equipment, instruments, and sampling supplies.
  • Prepare, submit, and track environmental samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Follow safety procedures and promote a strong culture of safety and environmental awareness.
