About The Position

The Entry Patient Service Representative I / Lobby Experience Coordinator assists with patient care by greeting patients upon arrival and answering questions or concerns with care and compassion. The candidate will maintain the integrity of the waiting area, assist with check-ins at the kiosk, and help cover breaks for other phlebotomists during staffing shortages. Utilizing phlebotomy skills, the candidate will perform forensic and clinical specimen collection in a safe and accurate manner while demonstrating excellence in customer care, processing accuracy, and sensitivity to confidential information.

Requirements

• Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check-ins in the lobby through either a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
• Be willing to work both in the lobby and in a draw room with patients to help with breaks that need to be covered.
• Perform with confidence both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service experience and skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy training or experience is required, including baseline knowledge gained from an internship or externship.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience required (e.g., retail, home health aide).
• Phlebotomy experience is required.
• Keyboard and data entry experience is required.
