About The Position

This is an entry-level manufacturing position at the Grand Prairie Box facility. The role involves following safety procedures, counting and stacking finished products, reading factory orders, and using basic shop math and a tape measure. Responsibilities also include inspecting products, performing quality checks, maintaining good housekeeping, and assisting with weekly clean-up functions such as blowing down machines, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, and sweeping the area. The position also requires securing tooling and materials for production orders and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Consent to a background check and pre-employment physical / drug screen
Verifiable, stable work history
Flexible to work overtime as needed
Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new things, receive and follow instructions

Nice To Haves

2 years manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Following all trained and published safety policies and procedures
Counting and stacking finished product
Reading factory orders
Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
Utilizing basic shop math and have the ability to reading a tape measure
Inspecting product
Accurately completing quality checks to ensure specific directions are followed
Practicing and maintaining great housekeeping
Assisting with weekly clean-up functions including but not limited to blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap
Assist with securing all required tooling and materials to manufacture production orders
Other duties as required
