About The Position

This role involves performing various tasks in a manufacturing environment, focusing on safety, production support, and quality control. The individual will operate machinery, conduct quality checks, perform cleaning duties, and assist with tooling and material preparation for production orders. The position requires adherence to safety policies, basic shop math skills, and the ability to use measuring tools. This is a full-time, hourly position with a shift differential and potential for overtime and weekend work.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Consent to a background check and pre-employment physical / drug screen
Flexible to work overtime as needed
Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new things, receive and follow instructions

Nice To Haves

2 years manufacturing experience highly preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operate transfer cart
Follow safety policies and procedures
Count and stack finished product
Read factory orders
Support Operators and Assistant Operators in running the machine
Accurately read gauges and other test equipment
Utilize basic shop math, inspect, and use a tape measure
Accurately complete quality checks and follow directions
Practice and maintain housekeeping standards
Perform clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap
Assist with securing all required tooling and materials for production orders
Perform other duties as required
