About The Position

This is an entry-level full-time position at the Garden City Box Facility. The role involves performing various tasks related to the production of finished products, including counting and stacking, reading factory orders, using basic shop math, and inspecting products. The position also includes cleaning functions such as blowing down machines, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the work area, and managing scrap. The shift is Monday-Friday, either 3 pm-11 pm or 11 pm-7 am.

Responsibilities

• Counting and stacking finished product
• Reading factory orders
• Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
• Utilizing basic shop math
• Inspecting products
• Accurately completing quality and administrative documents
• Following directions
• Performing clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area
• Picking up and shredding scrap
