About The Position

The Entry Manufacturing Laborer works at International Paper’s Garden City Box Facility in Garden City, Kansas. This hourly, full-time role involves handling finished product, reading factory orders and gauges, performing basic shop math and inspections, and completing quality and administrative documents accurately while following directions. The position also performs machine-area cleanup, including blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping, and collecting and shredding scrap. This is a safety-sensitive position. The listed pay rate is $21.59 per hour. The posting offers a $500 sign-on bonus after 30 days, another $500 after six months, a $500 retention bonus after one year, and an additional lump sum after two years. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 3 p.m.–11 p.m. or 11 p.m.–7 a.m.
